Average commute time is 31 minutes, and the median household income is $133,262 which is 165% higher than the rest of the state. This puts Weddington in a privileged position and makes it a premier destination for homeowners similar to Lake Wylie and Lake Norman.
The Town of Weddington is in the northwestern part of Union County with some parts in Mecklenburg County. One of the main ways to get to Uptown is down Providence Road, but you can also take the highway for a less direct though sometimes faster way.
