Sunday Funday Culinary Tour through Uptown – July 20, 26 and 27
This is a Gourmet Food Tour, a “Tour De Food” where you’ll eat, drink and walk the streets of uptown Charlotte. Beginning at Pure Pizza, the 7th Street Market and continues through restaurants where you’ll taste fabulous wine or champagne, magnificent pastries and much more! You’ll even have an opportunity to meet the chefs.
Local Flavors of NoDa Food Tour – July 26
Wear some comfortable shoes as you begin the walking food tour in Charlotte’s Art District. You’ll experience some of Charlotte’s finest local eateries. Meet some of the culinary artisans and taste some of the local craft beer. Plan to spend the day and then enjoy some of the exciting nightlife.
Bar Cocoa Cooking Class: Simple French Classics – July 26
If you’ve always wanted to learn how to make delectable pastries and desserts, then plan to attend this cooking workshop. These classes are open to the public and are a fun event for singles or groups.
Ganttfest – July 26
Enjoy the 40th anniversary of a full day of art and culture for African-America Arts at Levine Center for the Arts.
Queen’s Fest: Charlotte Restaurant Week – July 18 to July 27
This is a festival you won’t want to miss! Over 100 of Charlotte’s best restaurants participate. You’ll delight in the three courses (or more) for dinner at only $30 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). Make your reservations early so you’ll be sure to have a table.
Brewery Tour Charlotte – July 27
Get your tickets in advance for the tour on the Ragin’ Uptown party bus. Meet at World of Beer and then take the bus through Charlotte to the best local breweries for a night you won’t forget! These tours are held on the last Sunday of every month from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Cooking Class with Chef Alyssa: Cooking with Beer – July 30
This class is held at Atherton Market in South End. You’ll learn to cook with beer along with Triple C Brewery. Admission is $65 and begins at 6:30 pm. – 9 p.m.
