Pins Mechanical Company is coming to Charlotte. This is going to be a great spot to unwind and will include two indoor bars with an astounding 36 taps each. There will be a rooftop bar with skyline views with an additional 24 tap bar and four fire pits. The name pins relates to duckpin bowling as well as the pinball games inside. The sign has gone up, construction and build-out is almost complete, and hiring has begun, so you can soon be playing and enjoying time here.

Duckpin bowling has smaller pins and smaller balls and three balls per frame. The way they have it set up, you wear your street shoes, so no stinky rental shoes necessary. Expect a fast-paced game with plenty of laughs, comfy couches to lounge on when it’s not your turn, and great drinks and cocktails.

This location will have 22,000 square feet of games, gathering spaces, and smaller games as well. Expect large scale Jenga, Connect 4, bocce, ping pong, foosball, a giant lite-bright, in addition to classic and new arcade games. There are event spaces for private parties, or if you have an enormous gathering, you can rent the entire space.

Pins is located in the heart of SouthEnd on Tremont Avenue near the Common Market. This means that it is easily accessible from the Lynx light rail, the rail trail, in addition to having parking and is walkable as well from nearby homes. This will be a great happy hour spot from nearby businesses as well.

This successful chain is brought to you by Rise Brands who also own and operate 16-Bit Bar + Arcade, which has just about every classic video game you could want. There are 5 other locations of Pins Mechanical Company with three across Ohio, one in Nashville, and one in Indianapolis.

Existing locations are sure to set the tone for this new location. If that is the case, expect bowling leagues, events, specials and more. Some of the other locations have specials for veterans, host community events, provide live music and more.

The addition of Pins Mechanical Company brings even more excitement to SouthEnd. This area of town keeps being built-up with more incredible options. There are many more places to shop, dine, and play than ever before. You can walk here from Fuel Pizza, Tupelo Honey, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, Luciano’s Ristorante Italiano, 300 East, Thai Taste, Copper and Tyber Creek Pub.

This further connects SouthEnd and Dilworth into one great walkable area. It does beef up the nightlife of the area which has just become more robust in the years since the closure of the live music venue The Tremont. In addition to Pins Mechanical Company you can also visit Sycamore Brewing Company, Barcelona, Room 1812, Superica, QC Pour House, Hawkers, Oak Room, Keg and Cue, and Backstage Lounge to name a few. It also joins Pinhouse in Plaza Midwood as the second duckpin bowling venue in Charlotte.

Pins Mechanical Company is located at 307 W. Tremont Avenue and should be open in the next 90 days.
