Kohl’s Department Stores will open a store in Waxhaw, NC in September, creating 150 jobs.
The company will host a job fair for applicants from Aug. 7-11.
Kohl’s (NYSE:KSS) is seeking to hire workers to operate registers, unload freight and in customer service, among other positions.

Kohl’s, based in Menomonee Falls, Wis., sells apparel, shoes, accessories and home products at 1,097 stores in 49states.
The company has 10 stores in the Charlotte area.
