Charlotte is home to many great summer concerts and music festivals, and patrons will find something that they like no matter what their taste is. Events are held all over the city, and they are generally very affordable. In addition, there are concert series that go on all summer, and people can take advantage of this opportunity to see wonderful live music at the same location every week. The following are just some of the music festivals and concerts that are happening in Charlotte over the summer.

Harmony Hall Summer Concert Series

Located in south Charlotte, Harmony Hall at Carowinds amusement park will be presenting concerts every Friday night from the end of May until the beginning of August. In addition to a wide variety of bands, people can enjoy great specials on food and drinks, and there is a large patio for relaxing.

Music in the Village

With three different locations in Ballantyne Village, Music in the Middle will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from the middle of April until the middle of June. Each night features a different style of music, and the events will run from 6 until 9 p.m.

Fourth Annual Mint Museum Party in the Park

The Mint Museum will host their fourth annual Party in the Park on Wednesday, May 27th. Located at off Randolph Road, Mint’s Party in the Park will feature music concerts, art, food and drinks and admission is completely free.

Party in the Park

This weekly event will be held on Wednesdays from 6 until 9 p.m. and will feature a variety of musical genres from tribute bands to beach music, country, rock and jazz. Artists who are scheduled to perform include North Tower Band, Coastline, Band of Oz, The Holiday Band, Lakeside Drive Band, Too Much Sylvia, The Catalinas and SummerDaze. Concerts will take place from the beginning of May until the end of August.
