Ask anyone who lives here: Charlotte is a great place to raise a family. We’ve got great schools, healthcare, cultural venues, and local attractions. We also have some of the most family-friendly companies in the country. To help illustrate this last point, Charlotte Parent Magazine released their annual Top 50 Family Friendly Companies in North Carolina and almost half (23) have headquarters or offices here in Charlotte, NC.
Companies who made the list were nominated by their own workforce and were required to undergo an extensive survey and interview process. The winners had a myriad of family-friendly policies including:
- Flexible work options
- Telecommuting
- Extended paid maternity and paternity leave
- Childcare
- Wellness programs
- Adoption Assistance
- Exemplary health and fringe benefits packages.
