The metro Charlotte area straddles NC and SC and is sometimes referred to as “Metrolina”. It stretches North to include Lake Norman and South to include Fort Mill, SC. To the East their are the towns of Mint Hill, Matthews, Waxhaw, and Wedding. To the West we have Gastonia.
